It has been a big year for Alchemy with some key project wins and exciting developments in the pipeline for next year.
Established in 2015, Alchemy has quickly become a well respected and influential construction company in the market.
With some of Melbourne’s most prestigious and important projects under their belt, they have been expanding into all sectors of the industry including Heritage.
The major renovation of the landmark Town Hall has recently been successfully completed by the team for client City of Melbourne, in partnership with Global Architects Hassell Studio, to be opened and unveiled to the public in January 2021.
Another key heritage building project with renowned Kosloff Architecture at Pascoe Vale School used traditional brick building methods with ultra-modern architecture, to marry an existing heritage space to the new school extension– this was successfully completed last month.
Alchemy are currently building the Lifestyles Communities Clubhouse at Plumpton, designed by DKO Architecture, with another recent win with Lifestyles constructing their St Leonard’s Clubhouse – designed by Solomon Troupe Architects.
Alchemy’s work in the medical and hospital space continues with the building company undertaking Stage 1 of the world class ACMD project at St Vincent’s Hospital. ACMD is a bold initiative to create Australia’s first hospital based world leading health-tech innovation centre.

– City of Casey – Olive Road Netball Facility
– Maribyrnong City Council – Church Street Childcare & Roof Remediation Works
– Moreland City Council – ATC Cook Reserve Tennis Pavilion Refurbishment & ATC Cook Reserve Football & Cricket Pavilion Refurbishment
– City of Boroondara – West Hawthorn Preschool
– City of Glen Eira – Koornang Pavilion
Plans for 2021 include an exciting brand refresh which showcases the energetic, growing ambitions of the company, while retaining the core purpose of what the business does and will always stand for.
