Demolition has begun on Cbus Property’s high profile project at 435 Bourke Street.
The 64,500 sqm commercial office space will cost $1b and was designed by Bates Smart as a new icon in Melbourne’s skyline.
The project will be significant to the CBD and will respond to the needs of Melbourne’s construction workforce in a time of economic instability.
The tower has been designed sustainably to rise 55 levels with 360-degree views over Melbourne’s CBD.
The building has been a 5.5-star rating in Nabers Energy, a minimum 5-star green star office design, and a WELL platinum certification.

The building will include multi-vertical villages across the floors, sustainably made outdoor terraces, first-class fitness and wellness hubs.
Cbus is now seeking an anchor tenant to move into the office in 2023.
The tower will place an emphasis on sculptural design and wellbeing in the workplace. This will aim to create a new paradigm for commercial projects in Melbourne.
The builder for this project is yet to be announced.
