Industry Awards & Recognition
“Our #1 Best Place to Work ranking in 2022 is a huge achievement for everyone at Kapitol Group. We conduct this annual Wrk+ staff survey to get real feedback and ideas to improve our culture. This year’s ranking is a testament to everyone that worked hard to address last year’s feedback, and to all the passionate and innovative people at Kapitol who raise great ideas on how we can improve the culture and industry as a whole. We still have work to do, #1 doesn’t mean we rest on our laurels now, but it’s a great platform to launch from to achieve even greater things.” – Alice Hanna, People & Culture Manager
Culture
Key traits of a high performing team include trust, open communication and feedback, flexibility, respect and shared values and behaviours. These skills aren’t gifted to teams. They must work hard to achieve them. At Kapitol we are constantly looking at ways of building our culture to create a supportive, authentic, inspirational and driven team of talented individuals working towards the common goal.
Diversity
We're committed to treating every employee with respect and dignity. We believe each member of the team has the right to be treated fairly and equitably and equally access resources and opportunities. This includes people with disability, women, asylum seekers, new migrants, socially or economically disadvantaged groups and disadvantaged youth.
We welcome the opportunity to employ Indigenous staff and are committed to providing genuine opportunities for sustainable employment.
Sustainability
At Kapitol Group our passion for building is matched with our drive to establish long-term sustainable practices to reduce our environmental footprint by reducing our CO2 omissions and supporting natural habitats.
We're achieving this through many paths but most recently by signing a climate & Biodiversity Emergency pledge and The Ethical Paper Pledge.
