Privately-owned Symal Group has acquired another construction company, Bridge and Civil based in New South Wales.
This move comes as Symal Group aspired to expand its reach in New South Wales as well as its bridge and rail infrastructure capabilities as a large contractor company.
“Bridge and Civil broadens Symal’s delivery capability with established experience delivering complex infrastructure works in the bridges, industrial, rail and marine sectors for major clients such as ARTC, Transport for NSW, V/Line, Queensland Rail and other large contractors,” says Symal CEO, Nabeel Sadaka.
Established in 2010, Bridge and Civil is well known for its technical expertise with the founders’ Bob Simpkins, Allan Goldman and John Burke combined 100 years of experience in civil and rail.
While 100% of shares belong to Symal, all staff will remain in New South Wales and operations will be shared between the current management team and Symal’s existing NSW staff. Bridge and Civil will retain its current name.
Co-founder, Bob Simpkins said, “We’re incredibly excited about this new partnership with Symal. With a shared vision for growth and commitment to our clients and staff, we look forward to many new and diverse opportunities.”
