They must be in close communication with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure that any challenges that arise are dealt with in an efficient and satisfactory manner.
The Project Supervisor is responsible for the management of labour, materials and resources associated with a project; and for ensuring works are conducted as per any schedule or programming outlined for the project. They are also expected to compile and present progress reports to key stakeholders throughout the project duration.
Key skills needed by successful Project Supervisors include time management and scheduling, financial management, and interpersonal skills. They should have a strong knowledge of the industry and a construction background.
