Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Manage a portfolio of projects from Design & Construct, Construction, Fitout & Refurb
• Deliver exceptional outcomes to customers, delivering on time, on budget and to the
• Highest quality and safety standards
• Ensure detailed design and program plans are approved by the Construction Manager
• Manage, coach, mentor and lead high performing teams
• Lead, manage, delegate and make all members of the team accountable for responsibilities and deadlines
• Negotiate designated Head Contracts and ensure administration requirements are understood and managed 
• Applying an effective sub-contractor selection and evaluation procedure.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide regular and accurate reporting on project and risk status
• Ensure all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards are adhered to
• Share lessons learned with other project managers
• Input into tender strategies and the ECI process

What you need:

• The ability to maintain existing relationships with our valued clients.
• Management of projects ideally up to $40M
• Be self motivated and have good communication skills.
• Experience in Commercial, Industrial, Health, New Construction and Refurbishment with particular focus on live Health Environments. 
• Design Management and Design and Construct (D&C) experience essential
• Competent in negotiation and client relationship building accompanied with a sound understanding of contract management and financial management;
• Supervision, coordination and management of site staff.
• Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Experience with OH&S and Industrial Relations matters.
• Strong commitment to safety on site and in the workplace
• Be able to work in a team or autonomous role.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• High organisational and job programming skills.
