Responsibilities
Headquartered in Melbourne, Base Services Group is expanding across the nation, building our QLD team to work on Queensland’s largest private development. We are seeking an Independent Commissioning Agent / Services Commissioning Manager to work from our South Melbourne and Brisbane Offices.
- Coordinate with the client (building owner), design team and contractor throughout the commissioning, testing and tuning phases.
- Provide commissioning advice to the project team throughout the project.
- Review shop drawing and technical submissions from contractors for commissioning requirements.
- Develop a commissioning plan and objectives to direct the commissioning process.
- Chair commissioning meeting and workshops.
- Observe all testing, reviewing contractor test results.
- Monitor and verify the commissioning of all systems.
- Prepare commissioning reports at practical completion including recommendations to the client regarding the performance of commissioned building systems.
- Oversee the documentation and recording of tuning by trade sub-contractors and ensure their O&M manuals are correctly updated to reflect the final status.
- Attend witness testing of pre-commissioning and commissioning of systems. Complete reports summarising these sessions.
