Creating a Conecta Profile that Stands Out
Applying for jobs on Conecta? Our platform works by showing those with well-completed profiles to employers first.
Your Conecta profile is essentially your CV, and you wouldn’t send an incomplete resumé to a potential employer.
A well-completed profile has the following:
An up to date CV
It’s important your CV contains the most up-to-date information about your work experience and qualifications, to avoid any gaps or misinformation.
A brief summary
A few lines highlighting your career experience and your future career goals will give employers some context about who you are, what you’ve achieved and what you aspire to do through the course of your career.
Your experience
This should include your work experience, skills and accomplishments over the last 7 years (minimum).
Industry or employer awards
List any awards you have received, and leave blank if none.
Recent projects you have worked on
It’s great to see the companies you’ve worked for, but employers will be curious about what different projects you’ve worked on, so they can get a better idea of your specific skills. At minimum, list the projects you’ve been a part of in the past seven years.
