Luke Stambolis appointed Vaughan Construction Chief Executive

Luke Stambolis has been appointed Vaughan Construction’s new Chief Executive following the retirement announcement of current Managing Director, Andrew Noble.

Former Probuild Managing Director Luke Stambolis is an admired and respected executive in the Australian Construction Industry whose exceptional career spans more than 30 years.

Luke most recently launched HALET Group, a comprehensive Property & Construction advisory consultancy. More importantly for Hawthorn footy fans, he was appointed a Director of the Hawthorn Football Club in January of 2021.

Luke has held senior roles at LendLease and Multiplex and more recently the role of Managing Director at Probuild & Roberts Co. Victoria.

Andrew Noble joined Vaughan’s as an apprentice in the late 1980’s and made the strategic decision to grow his skills and career within a single builder in the early days of the growing business.

“I didn’t move from company to company to build my career,” he says. “I recognised relatively early that this place was going somewhere, and that hard work and loyalty would be rewarded with opportunity. I noticed that short-term rewards for jumping ship weren’t going to lead to any improvement in happiness or real career progression. And I felt a deep loyalty to my colleagues and I wanted to grow with them.”

Following a stint in Sydney to further establish Vaughan’s presence, Andrew moved back to Melbourne as Managing Director where he has continued to serve to date.

Luke will step into the large, well-cared for Vaughan workboots of Andrew Noble upon Andrew’s exit as of June 30, 2024.
