Hacer Group Finalises Leadership Team

Hacer Group has rounded out its leadership team, with the appointment of Rob Corrigan as Estimating Manager.

Corrigan comes from Watpac, where he worked as a Senior Estimator for 12 years.

In the role, Corrigan will succeed Paul Toleman, who took an opportunity to lead the company’s commercial function, stepping into the role of Commercial Director.

Corrigan will lead an experienced Estimating team including Senior Cost Planners Paul Stephens and David Lazzarotto.

The search for Toleman’s replacement took twelve months, and Corrigan was eventually placed through Conecta.

Toleman approached Conecta because he knew the role would be difficult to fill through ordinary job boards, with the right person for the job maybe not even looking.

Corrigan joins Hacer at an exciting time, with the company currently at work on a number of high-end developments, including a $300 million apartment building at 17 Spring Street, a joint venture with Cbus Property.

Hacer is also currently constructing a 5-building mixed-use development named West End in West Melbourne.

Due for completion late this year, the 9,200 square metre site comprises 475 residential and serviced apartments designed by Hecker Guthrie.

The development also features recreational amenities including a pool, spa and gardens, with scope to reposition the suburb into an “urban sanctuary” thanks to the inclusion of six bars and restaurants, a supermarket, medical centre, day spa and gym.

In the city’s creative hub, Hacer is set to deliver Costa Fox Developments’ Encore Cremorne by mid-2021.

The strata office development is fully committed, and will feature seven storeys of office space designed to achieve best practice sustainability outcomes, with first-class end of trip facilities, interiors by Mim Design and flexible floor plates for individual layouts.

The building will retain its heritage-listed facade, with cafe tenancy opportunities on the ground floor and a landscaped communal roof terrace.
