Jardon Group Appoint Duncan Macleod as Construction Manager

Boutique builder Jardon Group recently welcomed Duncan Macleod as Construction Manager, bringing with him a wealth of Tier-1 experience to shape company culture and personnel growth on-site.

With an impressive career at Probuild and Multiplex, Duncan Macleod has worked on a number of high-profile residential towers in Melbourne as well as luxury hotels, a crane training facility, schools and new platforms at Southern Cross Station.

Jardon Group was founded by Brian Donovan and they began to ramp up their workbook at the end of 2021. This created the need for an in-depth, experienced manager to drive delivery forward along with building the culture onsite for Jardon.

Duncan has a reputation for being approachable, accommodating, and very design-driven, as well as for being able to figure out resolutions to complex challenges. As a result, the remainder of the Jardon team has the chance to lean on another respected mentor, further strengthening their culture.

Brian and Duncan have an established professional relationship spanning 15 years, originally working together at Multiplex and remaining in contact on a regular basis across their respective careers.

Jardon’s recent growth and success winning projects presented the perfect opportunity to come together to progress the future of the builder.

One aspect of Jardon Group that attracted Duncan was their push for a five-day working week, which is a refreshing approach to work-life balance in the construction industry.
