Kapitol Group has been appointed to build Central Equity’s latest development – Parkhill Apartments in West Melbourne.
The tower, located at 408 Spencer Street on the CBD’s edge, will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments with open-plan layouts and city views.
Each apartment enjoys ceilings up to 2.7m high, openable double-glazed windows and optional motorised blinds.
The building will have onsite concierge services and a rooftop terrace garden with shared amenities for residents including a barbecue area and gym.
The roof terrace has been designed in response to the City of Melbourne’s Rooftop Project, an initiative to create more solar, cool or green roofs with the goal of mapping 880 hectares of rooftop green space across the council.
Designed by ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects, the 20-storey tower will include 177 apartments and ground floor retail and hospitality tenancies.
Construction on this exciting project will commence in August and the finished development will present a rare opportunity to purchase in an ideal location on the edge of the Melbourne CBD, only metres from Flagstaff Gardens.
The boutique apartments will feature exceptional attention to detail, functional design and superior quality finishes throughout.
“To be working with one of Australia’s pre-eminent developers, that has delivered some of Melbourne’s most significant residential developments, is a significant milestone for us at Kapitol Group. We are really looking forward to delivering this project with Central Equity, as we know they are passionate about ensuring exceptional quality outcomes,” Kapitol Group Director David Caputo said.
As well as Parkhill, Kapitol is currently constructing Bedford by Milieu, a mid-rise residential building at 34 Bedford Street in Collingwood.
Kapitol is also working on the redevelopment of the iconic Sarah Sands Hotel in Brunswick, building 31 bespoke apartments overlooking Princes Park.
Kapitol Group is currently hiring a Project Coordinator for project delivery. View the job description and apply here.
