Maben Group has been awarded the i.Co Richmond project where they will work closely with Wilmac Properties and Watson Young.
i.Co Richmond is located at 45 Vere St, Richmond, and consists of 15 heritage-inspired office buildings, each ranging between 114 sq m to 301 sq m. Construction cost is just under $8m.
The project is designed for businesses and start-ups to create the ultimate work environment with flexible open-plan spaces that can be customised to suit the needs of each tenant.
Each space will include undercover garage car parking, balconies and rooftop decks with CBD views, environmentally-aware design inclusive of solar power, dedicated air conditioning and floor by floor zoning and security.
Maben will work on the removal of asbestos and demolition of the site as well as the main building works.

Maben has worked on similar projects throughout Victoria including;
– The Eastland Office Development, a 5 star Green Star commercial office for the Maroondah Council administration headquarters valued at $20m.
– Albert Street, a new 7-level office building development comprising six levels of premium office working space in Cremorne and valued at $13.5m.
– Eastco, an office building located opposite Eastland Shopping Centre and spanning 14,000 sq m valued at $64.8m. And,
– 80 Market Street, a new six storey infill office development on a tight 1000 sq m site valued at $11.3m.
