Jardon Group Appoints New Pre-Construction Manager Consolidating Position in Industry

Jardon Group has appointed Ben Ward as their new Pre-Construction Manager.

Ben brings a wealth of experience and expertise in estimating and cost planning to his role at Jardon Group. Previously a senior estimator at Lloyd Group, he played a pivotal role in the early establishment and successful delivery of projects across various sectors including healthcare, education, sports and leisure, residential, commercial, and retail developments. 

His involvement in both metropolitan and regional Victoria showcases his versatility and adaptability in handling diverse construction projects.

Ben has managed cost development and trades engagement on projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million and has been an integral part of delivery teams.

Ben led the estimation and pre-construction efforts for the $40 million Casey Sporting Fields Development, which encompassed the delivery of eight AFL Grade sporting fields over four separate titles. 

One of Ben’s key strengths is leading and mentoring teams during tender development and post-award phases. His meticulous attention to detail enables comprehensive tender handover packages with established target budgets, and identified project risks & contractual obligations.

Jardon Group recently made other strategic appointments to their pre-construction team,  strengthening their position as a mature business and enhancing their expertise in pre-construction budgeting and contracts: vital for meeting project forecast budgets and prioritising cost considerations.

Tommy Teo joined Jardon Group as Senior Estimator in early 2023, bringing experience working with modern estimating and software systems; a technology-forward approach to drive growth and efficiency across the business.

Jardon Group recently topped out 20 Spink Street, a new commercial office building in Brighton. The scope of the project includes 1,900 sqm of office space across four levels, five-star interiors, an on-site cafe, end-of-trip facilities and car parking.

They are currently building a new Lifestyle Communities Clubhouse facility at Woodlea in Aintree. This is a continuation of the relationship with Lifestyle Communities, where they completed the Wollert Clubhouse in May 2021.
