MECWACARE ‘SIMON PRICE CENTRE’
Located at 13-25 Strabane Ave, the project is a redevelopment of mecwacare’s Simon Price Centre.
Originally to be undertaken in two stages, post tender value management options has resulted in a single stage delivery. An early works package has been completed, comprising the partial demolition of the existing facility along with the construction of the Basement and Ground Floor on the original ‘Stage One’ side of the Project. This includes concrete slabs and services including the mains power etc. The new one stage project will begin with the demolition of the existing 60 bed facility.

STORAGE KING, EPPING
Located at 165 Oherns Road, the construction of a 3 storey, 10,444m2 self storage facility to accommodate self-storage units, an office space on the ground floor and associated car parking.
Originally intended as a lightweight structure, post tender clarifications required a full redesign to a complete concrete structure, to better future proof the construction.
The facility will be fitted out with 755 storage units of varying sizes and be finished with Storage King’s corporate signage and landscaping.

MELCORP BUNDOORA
The replacement of non-compliant cladding to the exterior façade of the entire building at 240 Plenty Road, Bundoora.
The site comprises a mixed use property with a ground level café and restaurant and 5 further levels comprising 39 office suites.

Steve Taylor
Managing Director
Steve is a founding shareholder of Total Construction which commenced operations in 1994.
Steve’s focus is on strategic decision making and leading our stakeholders to ensure the maintenance of a sound cash flow and a strong balance sheet. In doing this, Steve works closely with the executive management team to provide corporate governance through the company.
His role encompasses many guises - he is a mentor to the teams with leadership and ensures that compliance with our internal Business Management System is maintained. He also ensures that the company culture is aligned with our Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
His day to day involvement ensures he maintains a thorough understanding of all our projects and ultimately our clients and their expectations. Steve ensures the longevity of the business and delivery of our core strengths.

Bill Franks
Director
A founding shareholder and director of Total Construction as well as principal of W. H Franks Constructions Pty Ltd, Bill has a trade background and is a licensed building practitioner in QLD, NSW, ACT, SA, WA and VIC.
He has sound commercial capability in design and construct contracts across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
Bill works closely with the project teams supervising consultants and other professionals involved in the project to provide corporate governance. He also mentors the teams with leadership and ensures that compliance with the Australian Standards and Building Council of Australia codes are maintained.

Jeff Jones
Chief Executive Officer
Jeff joined Total as our Financial Director in 2011 following 10 years with a major second tier Design and Construct Contractor. Now our CEO, Jeff possesses broad industry experience across the construction, engineering and property development market segments.
Leveraging his skills obtained from becoming a Chartered Accountant and completing an MBA, Jeff is responsible for the leadership and operational performance management of the company within the strategy and business plan delivered by the Board.
